In celebration of Earth Day (April 22), PINTRILL founder Jordan Roschwalb has joined forces with renowned artist Gordon Stevenson, known as Baron Von Fancy on a low waste tie-dye T-shirt initiative dubbed, “American Tye Dye.”
Essentially bringing a fresh approach to the tie-dye technique, the brand places an emphasis on sustainability and hand-dying every piece right here in America. In a press release, both Jordan and Gordon expressed their love for the vibrant pattern, “we know tie-dye, and collectively we own hundreds of pieces and have searched the world in creating our collections,” Jordan and Gordon said. “We wanted to get back to the true roots, which is why we hand dye each piece here in America.”
Additionally, for every item sold, the brand will donate one dollar to the Clean Water Fund.
The featured short and long-sleeve tie-dye tees offered are rendered in multicolor variations, and can be purchased on American Tye Dye’s website beginning Earth Day, April 22. Prices range from $55 to $60.
